Tom Hardy returns as the lethal protector Venom for the next chapter in the story of one of Marvel's greatest and most complex characters. Set one year after the first film, investigative journalist Eddie Brock is still struggling to adapt to the life-changing events that led him to sharing his body with the alien symbiote living inside him. When death-row inmate Cletus Kasady becomes the host of a sinister symbiote and escapes prison, the pair are forced to put aside their differences to stop Carnage being wreaked across San Francisco. Directed by Andy Serkis, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Stephen Graham, Naomie Harris, and Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady / Carnage.
