Nolan's new film lands a late August UK release

News of Warner Bros' indefinite delay of Christopher Nolan's newest sci-fi thriller left fans fearing the worst and wondering just how long we'd have to wait to see Tenet, or if we'd even see it this year at all. Thankfully, one of the biggest films of the year is back on for a 2020 release and moviegoers won't be waiting much longer as Warner Bros set a late August release date. When Warner Bros announced the indefinite delay to reconsider their release strategy they said that Tenet would likely not have the traditional global day-and-date release we're used to and have now confirmed that Tenet will release in seventy international territories before the US. As before, Warner Bros are favouring a midweek release to allow more flexibility for cinemas and cinemagoers. Tenet will now debut in UK cinemas on August 26.
