Packed full of incredible action and stunning new footage from the film, the epic new trailer for Disney’s latest live-action remake gives a much better outline of Mulan’s story as she defies her country’s culture to bring honour to her family. When northern invaders attack China, and with her ailing father unable to fight, Mulan poses as a man to take his place in the Imperial Army. The trailer brings a much better look at Yifei Liu in the lead role as well as introducing the film’s antagonists: Jason Scott Lee’s ruthless Bori Khan and Gong Li’s Xianniang, a powerful witch with incredible powers of transformation. Wielding her father’s sword, Mulan fearlessly joins the fight stop the attackers and follow her family motto "Loyal, Brave, True" as the trailer follows her path from the rigorous training camp where the military make men out of their soldiers to the epic battle sequences where she shines as a warrior.
