That’s the premise for the wild new take on the hit eighties television series from the man behind John Wick, Deadpool 2, and Bullet Train, with Ryan Gosling as the latest Hollywood heartthrob he’s firing through the ringer in the name of adrenaline-fuelled entertainment. Featured in the trailer alongside Gosling is co-star Emily Blunt – as his aforementioned ex-girlfriend and the director of his latest gig – as well as supporting cast members Hannah Waddingham, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Winston Duke, and Stephanie Hsu. It’s a breathless trailer from beginning to end that less leans, more runs headfirst into the silliness of its premise, turning the action dial to eleven as the stuntman must navigate explosions, gunfights, and chaotic car chases for real.
