Words Lee Curtis

He’s thrilled us with John Wick, Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, Hobbs & Shaw, and Bullet Train, but the action isn’t stopping as stunt-coordinator-turned-director David Leitch unleashes a new wild ride where Hollywood stunts are very real.

Ryan Gosling is Colt Seavers, a supercool stuntman who needs to brace himself for some of the most dangerous action he’s ever seen.

Back in action after a brief spell off grid for some self-care, Colt is doing what he does best on the set of the new must-see blockbuster that’s being directed by Emily Blunt’s Jody Moreno, who just so happens to be the same girl he ghosted before his hiatus.

It’s a bid to charm his way back into her good books, but it’s going to take the biggest stunt of his life to rekindle their romance. The opportunity soon presents itself when Jody’s star Tom Ryder goes missing and the film’s uncompromising producer, played by Ted Lasso’s Hannah Waddingham, tasks Colt with doing whatever it takes to find him.

Rescue her hero, save her film, win her heart: Colt’s task seems simple, but it’s anything but. Safety harnesses are off as this stunt double soon finds himself in big trouble and braving big-screen explosions, car chases, and gunfights for real.

A new action-comedy from one of the most exciting directors around with an A-list cast that’s to die for… The Fall Guy gets one big thumbs-up.

Lights, Camera, Action!

Ryan Gosling is Colt Seavers

The classic Lee Majors character from eighties TV is reborn as a modern-day hero with Drive coolness, The Nice Guys goofiness, and The Notebook romance. He’s a patriarchy poster-boy Barbie’s Ken would idolise.

Emily Blunt is Jody Moreno

She’s seen action teaching Tom Cruise’s hero how to Live Die Repeat and now brings her charming wit as a director caught in the chaos of her ex’s attempts to win her back.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is Tom Ryder

After recently boarding Bullet Train, the former Kick-Ass star and potential future Bond stars as the biggest name in Hollywood who’s caught up in a criminal plot and needs to be saved by his stunt double.
