Northshore seems like your average American high school, but within its locker-lined halls, a fierce hierarchy exists. When sixteen-year-old Cady Heron turns up after years of home schooling in Africa, she’s introduced to the many cliques and told to avoid “The Plastics” at all costs, especially the queen bee herself, Regina George.

She hatches a plan with her new friends Janis and Damian to destroy the mean girls from within, but instead of dismantling the toxic system, Cady falls into becoming “Plastic” herself.

Mean Girls gets a modern makeover that moves the focus to a new generation. Reneé Rapp reprises her role from the Broadway stage as Regina, while Disney’s Moana Auli’i Cravalho plays Janis and Angourie Rice stars as Cady. Tina Fey, the brain behind this brand-new twist, reprises her role from the original alongside Tim Meadows, with Jon Hamm, Jenna Fisher, and Busy Philipps as new faces to the faculty and family group.

A cringe Halloween costume, racy rendition of Jingle Bell Rock, the Burn Book, and more unforgettable moments are all back and given a new lease of life in extravagant musical numbers lifted from the stage.

Whether you’re already a fan or new to this phenomenon, this Mean Girls is one you won’t want to miss. And you can sit with us, but remember… on Wednesdays, we wear pink.
