Jason Momoa is back as the aquatic hero continues his quest to serve justice twenty-thousand leagues under the sea in a new adventure that sees him caught in his most personal fight yet. The trailer opens to reveal that a lot has changed in four years for our half-human/half-Atlantean hero. Not only is Arthur Curry balancing family life with his responsibilities as Aquaman, but he’s also the ruler of Atlantis. And very heavy is the head that wears the crown, especially when his nemesis Black Manta, played by the returning Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, is back and more powerful than ever as he now wields the fabled Black Trident. To stop him and the global meltdown he threatens, the protector of the seas must team up with the unlikeliest of allies, his half-brother Orm, again portrayed by Patrick Wilson. The two must learn to live with their differences as Black Manta promises to destroy Arthur’s entire world; both the one on land and the one under the sea. With an exciting returning cast reuniting under the direction of James Wan and a trailer showcasing more of the spellbinding visual effects, thrilling action sequences, and humour that saw its predecessor become the highest-grossing DC film of all time, Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom is sure to make a mighty splash in cinemas December 21.
