Trolls World Tour Goes On Demand

The Trolls sequel scraps cinema release and goes straight to VOD

Trolls World Tour is one of the many movies caught up in the middle of the COVID-19 and was, until now, the last film standing for a theatrical release in April. Some of the biggest films of the year – including No Time To Die, Mulan, and Black Widow – have seen their release dates pushed back while others have arrived on demand much earlier than normal after only a scant few weeks in cinemas. After much speculation and with no sign that the social distancing will be ending, Universal Pictures has now confirmed their Trolls sequel will arrive in the UK on-demand from April 6. While it’s undoubtedly sad that fans won’t be able to catch up with Anna Kendrick’s Poppy, Justin Timberlake’s Branch, and all of their favourite Trolls on the big screen, but it does at least mean they can enjoy the film from the comfort and safety of their homes.
