The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping revisits the world of Panem twenty-four years before the events of The Hunger Games, starting on the morning of the reaping of the Fiftieth Hunger Games - the infamous Second Quarter Quell.
Francis Lawrence returns with his fifth journey into Panem, directing from a screenplay by Billy Ray, the writer who first brought Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games to the screen. Joseph Zada stars as a young Haymitch Abernathy, entering the arena long before he became Katniss's mentor.
