The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping Trailer

Glenn Close’s character opens the proceedings, announcing District 12’s reaping as Panem braces for a defining moment in Hunger Games history: the infamous Second Quarter Quell. Rewinding the clock twenty-four years before Katniss Everdeen’s rise, this adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ novel – once again directed by Francis Lawrence – returns to a world on edge, preparing for the most brutal games yet: twice the tributes, twice the losses. The trailer introduces Joseph Zada as a young Haymitch Abernathy, long before he became Katniss’ mentor made famous by Woody Harrelson. He’s joined by a powerhouse ensemble that includes Jesse Plemons, Ralph Fiennes, Kieran Culkin, Elle Fanning, Mckenna Grace, Maya Hawke, Whitney Peak, and Kelvin Harrison Jr also featuring. The countdown has begun. The 50th Hunger Games begin in cinemas November 20.
