Taking the torture terror back to a time before the serial killer’s death at the bloody end of Saw 3, the trailer for the tenth chapter in the franchise sets up Jigsaw’s most personal game yet. Set between the events of the first and second films in the series, it sees Tobin Bell’s John Kramer become the victim of a cruel scam that gives him hope of curing his cancer. After discovering the truth, he’s out for blood and returns to his work to serve justice to the con artists, in his signature, twisted style. . With Tobin Bell’s return as Jigsaw, more tricycle-riding terror from Billy the puppet, and shots of some of the most devious, deranged death traps devised yet, there’s plenty to get fans’ blood pumping throughout, before ratcheting it up a notch more with a killer reveal that Shawnee Smith is reprising her role as Amanda Young, Jigsaw’s former victim-turned, protégé, pig mask and all. The game begins in cinemas September 29.
