Having your own pool is the stuff of dreams, but it’s about to become one family’s nightmare in the new horror from the minds behind The Conjuring and M3GAN.
James Wan, the filmmaker behind Saw, Insidious and The Conjuring franchises; Jason Blum, the producer of The Invisible Man, The Black Phone, and M3GAN; and writer-director Bryce McGuire team up to turn the acclaimed short film McGuire co-created with Rod Blackhurst into a feature-length horror. The trailer introduces Wyatt Russell and Kerry Condon as a married couple who are looking for a new home for their family. Upon viewing a house in the suburbs, they and their teenage daughter and young son fall in love with the idea of having their own pool. After moving in and cleaning it up for the summer, they soon discover that something deadly lurks below. A terrifying game of Marco Polo is only the beginning of the scares as dark secrets in the home’s past surface and a malevolent force drags the family under, into the depths of inescapable terror. Night Swim comes to cinemas January 5.
