Everybody’s favourite Greek family are back for a third helping of feel-good multicultural romcom fun, which finally sees the Portokalos clan go international and return to their roots by visiting their home country. Writer, actor, and now director Nia Vardalos returns to her leading role and helms this culture-clashing story that aims to be just as sentimental as it is hilarious and wholesome.

In the hopes of fulfilling the wishes of her late father, Costas, Toula must come to terms with the fact that she just might be the new head of the family. It’s a huge job, as every member will need to learn how to survive each other as well as their not-so-new surroundings. Luckily, a big fat family reunion is the perfect excuse to find the true meaning of what it means to be Greek.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 promises to be the most beautiful of the films yet, swapping the Chicago scenery for the sun-kissed historical sights of Athens. In cinema terms, this is a reunion two decades in the making and one you’d be mad to miss.

Family Affairs

The Addams

They might be creepy, kooky, and altogether ooky, but the Addams’ obsession with all things macabre is precisely what makes them stand out. Whether in live-action or animation, on the big screen or small, the Addams never disappoint.

The Incredibles

Trying to be normal as a family of superpowered heroes is tough business. Just ask Mr and Mrs Incredible, who, after having three super-children of their own, still have the urge to fight crime. Somehow, they make it work, despite the odd argument.

The Weasleys

Cinema families don’t get more tightly knit or wholesome than the Weasleys. In every way the surrogate family unit Harry Potter always wanted, these redheaded wizarding heroes are supportive, earnest, and loyal almost to a fault.
