Michael Keaton resurrects his iconic role as the ghost with the most for a long-awaited sequel to Tim Burton’s gothic horror-comedy sensation. The short teaser is full of nostalgia, but light on details – though it does tease the reason for the juice being loose is because Lydia Deetz’s rebellious teenage daughter has discovered the model town in the attic and accidentally opened the portal to the Afterlife. The realms will collide again and bring Winona Ryder’s Lydia and Catherine O’Hara’s Delia back, face to face with a familiar foe. This time, it’s three generations of the Deetz family being terrorised by the spectre as the teaser introduces Jenna Ortega as Astrid. While they aren’t featured in the trailer, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice boasts an ensemble cast that also includes Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Arthur Conti, and Willem Dafoe. Get ready for a very unique brand of mayhem, it’s showtime, in cinemas September 6.
