Music biopics have always been a route to awards season success, and following the recent triumphs of Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman, Respect already stands out as a real contender. What more, Hudson appears to perfectly cast and shines so brightly in the trailer alone that you can well envision the Academy Award winner claiming her second Oscar after her Best Supporting Actress win for Dreamgirls back in 2007.
