First Man Poster And Trailer
Ryan Gosling goes from the City Of Stars to the stars in the dramatic first look at Damien Chazelle’s Neil Armstrong biopic
After blasting off with thumping debut Whiplash and then soaring with a certain six-time Academy Award-winning musical smash, Oscar-winning La La Land director Damien Chazelle is back and reunited with Ryan Gosling for a cinematic retelling of NASA’s mission to put a man on the moon. Set between 1961 and 1969, First Man promises a visceral, first-personal account of legendary astronaut Neil Armstrong and an exploration of the sacrifices and the cost — on Armstrong and the nation — of one of the most treacherous missions of all-time.
The film boasts a stellar support cast of stars including Claire Foy, Corey Stoll, Kyle Chandler, Jason Clarke, and Pablo Schreiber. But the pedigree doesn’t end there with a screenplay, based on the book by James R. Hansen, penned by Academy Award-winning writer of Spotlight, Josh Singer.
