Disney Drops Death On The Nile And Free Guy From 2020

Death On The Nile and Free Guy become the latest blockbusters to drop off of the 2020 release calendar

As cinemas close across England once again, disappointing news has broken that two of the biggest films that were still set for 2020 will no longer be releasing this year whether cinemas are able to reopen their doors in December or not. The Ryan Reynolds-led action-comedy Free Guy and the star-studded sequel to Murder On The Orient Express had both been delayed from their original dates and were due to open in December. Now, they’re both without a date as Disney reconsiders their release plans. In light of a second national lockdown in England for all of November, surges across Europe, and renewed uncertainty, the delays are expected, but disappointing nonetheless. Sadly, it’s a case of waiting to see whether Disney will find a way to fit them into the increasingly busy 2021 schedule, send them direct to streaming, or something else altogether.
