A lot of Deadpool's success was down to the hilarious, tongue-in-cheek marketing campaign that perfectly captured the character's unique charm. Well, the creatives at Fox are at it again.
Having already kickstarted their marketing campaign for the highly-anticipated sequel with a hilarious take on Bob Ross' Joy Of Painting, with an aggressive, vulgar Deadpool filling in for the gentle, calm artist, Fox has again turned to painting for a new poster that features a masterpiece of their own.
The inspired reworking of Michelangelo's Creation of Adam sees the red-suited superhero taking the place of Adam, lounging in a bean bag and plugging the barrel of Cable's gun with his finger, who takes the place of God and is surrounded by a blue portal that perhaps offers a glimpse into how Cable teleport through time in the film.
