Aladdin Teaser

It may only be the briefest of teasers, but there’s so much to see in the first look at Disney's live-action Aladdin that gives fans a feel of what they can expect next May. The trailer begins with scorching shots of the desert as the sun sets on a distant Agrabah. Then Jafar’s parrot Iago takes flight, soaring through an Arabian night towards the Cave Of Wonders where a young man enters, and a familiar booming voice announces him as the “diamond in the rough”. We don’t get to see Will Smith’s Genie, but an epic rendition of “friend like me” is teased and a stunning final shot that reveals the legendary lamp and introduces Mena Massoud as the hapless but lovable street rat Aladdin.
