Charting his inspiring rags-to-riches underdog tale from his humble beginnings in Sheffield to becoming champion of the world and a global sporting icon in the 1990s, Giant explores the unlikely and tender relationship between Naz and his Irish boxing trainer Brendan Ingle; and the instrumental role that Ingle plays on his road to success.

Written and directed by filmmaker Rowan Athale, the film stars Amir El-Masry - the rising star of Netflix's The Crown and BBC's SAS: Rogue Heroes - as Naseem Hamed, with screen legend Pierce Brosnan as Brendan Ingle. The supporting cast features Toby Stephens as boxing promoter Frank Warren, among other famous figures from British boxing, including Johnny Nelson, Kell Brook, and more.
