The beloved Catherine Tate character is back and badder than ever in the trailer for The Nan Movie.
Catherine Tate reprises her role as the fan-favourite character from The Catherine Tate Show to take the small-screen silliness and swears to the next level in a hilarious big screen adventure. The trailer establishes the film as an origin story of sorts for the foul-mouthed pensioner as past and present collide to bring answers as to why Joannie Taylor is the way she is. Mathew Horne is dragged along for the ride as he also reprises his role from the sketch show as Joannie’s long-suffering grandson Jamie, who finds himself on the wrong end of more of Nan’s mischief, pranks, and insults. Katherine Parkinson joins the cast as Joannie’s estranged sister Nell and is set to become a perfect sparring partner as the trailer sets up a fiery family reunion. Witness the return of Britain’s most beloved Nan in cinemas March 18.
