Words Hannah Taylor

Two years after the last Scream instalment, the legendary nineties horror icon Ghostface returns, donning the infamous grim reaper costume for another blood-soaked spree.

She’s put everything behind her and settled back into the town she once fled, but peace is short-lived when you’re Sidney Prescott. Ghostface is back to haunt Woodsboro, targeting the original Final Girl once more. But this time, the stakes are even higher: Sidney’s unsuspecting daughter Tatum is drawn into the nightmare and on the receiving end of chilling cold calls.

As the deadly game of cat and mouse begins anew, Sidney must confront her deepest, darkest fears and face the horrors of her past.

Neve Campbell reprises her iconic role, leading a killer ensemble that ties legacy and new-gen Screams together. Get ready for crossovers galore as franchise icons like Courteney Cox’s Gale Weathers make their comeback, joined by modern era torchbearers Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown as the Meeks-Martin twins, and rising star Isabel May, who leads the new blood.

Screenwriter of the original Scream, Kevin Williamson is back to write and direct too, sharpening his satirical blade for another self-aware whodunnit. As horror tropes are skewered, loyalties tested, and the body count climbs – one question lingers… who’s behind the mask this time?

Scream Suspects

From Wes Craven’s original quadrilogy to a three-season TV run and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett’s blood-soaked requels, Ghostface has been slaying since the horror villain’s chilling debut. Like the franchise itself, he’s anything but dead.

Scream

Inspired by true crime story, Kevin Williamson’s original script introduced us to Sidney Prescott with horror maestro Wes Craven chronicling her harrowing journey through four films. Amid so many comebacks, could the mask hide a familiar face – like Matthew Lillard’s Stu Macher or Scott Foley’s Roman Bridger?

The Requels

Twenty-five years after the original massacre, Ghostface returns – first in Woodsboro and then in New York. With even more new blood in the mix… could any of them be behind the mask?
