The fine folk who poured Fisherman’s Friends and Finding Your Feet, Nick Moorcroft and Meg Leonard, are back and raising the bar with a fresh, frothy British crowdpleaser. The trailer introduces the Harleys, a family with a pint to prove, a pub to defend, and absolutely no plans to call last orders. Martin Clunes stars as the landlord of The Drovers Arms, a once-thriving family-run village pub that’s fallen on hard times after the loss of its beloved matriarch and the success of The George Inn across the road. The Inbetweeners' star James Buckley co-stars as one son who’s remained loyally by his side, but things aren’t so smooth with his other son, played by Better Man breakout Jonno Davies. Their reunion gets off to a rocky start before slowly becoming the lifeline the pub desperately needs. With the help of steadfast regulars, including a larger-than-life soul played by Maek Addy, they embark on a mission to brew a beer good enough to take home top honours at the Great Beer Awards. The film is overflowing with familiar faces from British film and television, including Gabriella Wilde, Luke Treadaway, Miles Jupp, and more. Bottoms up, Mother’s Pride is in cinemas March 6.
