Disney’s latest live-action reimagining casts rising Australian star Catherine Laga’aia in the iconic role – and even from the briefest glimpse and hint of her singing voice, it’s clear she’s a perfect fit. Eagle-eyed fans will enjoy fleeting glimpses of fellow Motanui islanders, the mischievous coconut-like pirates Kakamora, the treasure-obsessed giant crab Tamatoa, and, of course, the main man Maui. Dwayne Johnson brings his iconic voice role to life in fully flexed, tattooed, tidal glory. And yes, remarkably lifelike stowaways Heihei and Pua are along for the ride, too. Set sail on the same adventure but like never before in cinemas July 10.
