Sony's Spider-Man Universe expands even further as a new trailer brings one of Marvel’s most enigmatic heroines to the big screen. Dakota Johnson is Madame Web.
Set apart from the Spider-Man films we’ve seen before, in another universe, the trailer for the standalone spin-off introduces Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic working in Manhattan. Her seemingly normal life is interrupted by the discovery of incredible clairvoyant abilities and that she’s seemingly being hunted by a surreal Spider-Man. Furthermore, she shares a strange connection to Sydney Sweeney’s Julia Carpenter, Isabela Merced’s Anya Corazon, and Celeste O’Connor’s Mattie Franklin. Together, the four girls set out to figure out why they’re tangled in the same web and fight their way out by tracking down the being who seemingly has Spider-Powers and can also see into the future. Experience a totally different Spider-story when Madame Web swings into cinemas February 14.
