BAFTA 2019 Nominations Announced
Olivia Colman is The Favourite for BAFTA glory

Following her success at the Golden Globes, Olivia Colman stands as firm favourite for Leading Actress for her colossal performance as the mercurial Queen Anne. Her co-stars Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone are both competing for Supporting Actress for a film that has received twelve nominations including Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Original Screenplay, Cinematography, Production Design, Costume Design, Make Up & Hair, Editing, and for Yorgos Lanthimos for Director.
Bohemian Rhapsody has seven nominations, including Cinematography, Editing, Sound, Costume Design, and Make Up & Hair, as well as Leading Actor for Golden Globe-winning Rami Malek, but strangely not for Best Film even though it also picked up that accolade at the Golden Globes. It does however join The Favourite in a strong line-up for Outstanding British Film.
The remaining Best Film nominees go to Spike Lee's BlacKkKlansman, Peter Farrelly's Green Book, Alfonso Cuarón's Roma, and Bradley Cooper's A Star Is Born.
