A Man Called Otto Trailer
Tom Hanks is the grumpiest man in the world in the trailer for the fresh adaptation of the New York Times bestseller.
The trailer introduces Tom Hanks’ Otto Anderson on a stroll through his neighbourhood where he grunts at an early-morning exerciser, barks at a dog walker, and berates a delivery driver for simply doing their job – it’s just a day in the life of a miserable old man who appears to hate everyone. The reason for his grumpiness is soon revealed on a visit to a graveyard where he discover he’s a lonely widower and is very set in his ways. The arrival of some sweet new neighbours sparks the unlikeliest of friendships that might just fix Otto’s broken and bitter heart. Based on the comical and moving best-selling novel, previously adapted in Swedish film A Man Called Ove, this funny and warming film from the director of Finding Neverland promises to melt even the iciest of hearts in cinemas January 6.
