500 Miles Trailer
Neither land nor sea can stop two young brothers from reaching the dear grandfather they love in the trailer for the stirring new drama starring Bill Nighy.
How far would you go for family? If it’s far enough for The Proclaimers, it’s certainly far enough for two young tearaways who leave home on a runaway quest to find their estranged grandfather – and maybe mend their broken family – in the uplifting, life-affirming drama. The trailer sees national treasure Bill Nighy lead a stellar British and Irish ensemble as the grandfather aching for a reunion with the family he’s been cut off from. Jojo Rabbit’s Roman Griffin Davis and A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms young breakout Dexter Sol Ansell star as Finn and Charlie, brothers who set off from Yorkshire and journey all the way to Dingle, a coastal town on Ireland’s wild western edge. They’re joined along the way by fellow Game Of Thrones alum Maisie Williams, who stars as Cait, a free-spirited busker who helps shepherd them some of the distance. Rounding out the cast are Clare Dunne and Michael Socha as the parents wrestling with past trauma and the relative they hold responsible. From the BAFTA-winning British filmmaker behind X+Y and The Railway Children Return comes a film worth travelling for, no matter how far your nearest cinema may be. In cinemas June 26.
