Lucky Prescott is used to her life in the big city, but when her constant rule breaking finally pushes her aunt to breaking point, she’s uprooted to a new home on the edge of the frontier in Miradero. Lucky’s initially bored by the sleepy town, but everything changes when she meets Spirit, a stallion who shares her fiercely independent and fearless spirit.

Just when she’s beginning to enjoy life in a place she finally feels she truly belongs, a trio of cowboys steal Spirit’s herd to sell them as workhorses.

With the help of some new friends, the wisdom of her elders, and every ounce of her own courage, Lucky sets out to save the horses and ensure they can all ride free.

Lucky’s journey will see her build a truly special bond with her horse, uncover the legacy of her late mother, and find her own identity in a galloping animated adventure with a spirit cinemagoers young and old can connect with.
