Nerve-shredding teaser resurrects Stephen King’s scariest story

Stephen King’s novels have seen something of a resurgence after recent adaptations of The Dark Tower, last year’s sensational scary IT, and gross-out horror Gerald’s Game on Netflix. Now, his scariest story is getting the big screen treatment. First adapted in 1989, Pet Sematary tells the story of a family who moves to rural Maine and soon discover that a cemetery near their house can bring the dead back to life. The terrifying teaser trailer introduces us to the fated family: Jason Clarke as Dr Louis Creed, Amy Seimetz as his wife Rachel and their two young children as they arrive at their new, dream house in the country. They meet their creepy neighbour Jud Crandall (John Lithgow) who warns them of an unknown evil lurking within the woods. And that's when the real nightmare begins.
