A new trailer for Tarantino’s ninth feature film introduces the key players
Much like the original teaser, the more detailed look at Tarantino’s love letter to Tinsel Town treats us to more great camaraderie between Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, but it’s the supporting cast who take centre stage in the new trailer. Margot Robbie is a perfect fit as glamorous actress Sharon Tate as she leads a remarkable ensemble that’s revealed in Tarantino’s trademark rapid-fire style. There’s Al Pacino, Kurt Russell, Timothy Olyphant, Luke Perry, Margaret Qualley, and so many more recognisable faces but interestingly it’s perhaps a lesser known co-star that reveals most. The new trailer finally reveals Damon Herriman as murderous cult leader Charles Manson. The period, setting, and inclusion of Sharon Tate already hinted that the Manson Family Murders would play a part in Tarantino’s tale, but it’s only now that we know how closely it will be linked.
