New Date For The New Mutants

Disney recently announced new theatrical release dates for its delayed blockbusters, Mulan and Black Widow, and now they’ve added the long-delayed The New Mutants to the list of films still releasing in 2020. The X-Men spin-ff spent a very long time in limbo and just when fans saw hope of a release in April, the coronavirus pandemic pushed the film once again, but to an unset date. Now, Disney has confirmed the film will release in UK cinemas in August. While there’s still no news surrounding the other delayed Disney projects acquired through the 20th Century Fox acquisition, such as The Woman In The Window, there is a slight shuffle tot their 2021 slate. The British animation Ron’s Gone Wrong, the first film from London-based Locksmith Animation, was originally due to arrive in February 2021 but has seen its release pushed a couple of months to April 2021.
