The trailer takes us to New York and into the Primm family home where they make a shocking discovery that a singing crocodile is enjoying a soak in their bath. Meet Lyle, the super-friendly, song-loving, scarf-wearing croc from the pages of Bernard Waber’s best-selling book series brought to life like never before. Following in the pawprints of Clifford The Big Red Dog, the all-new adaptation is a CGI / live-action hybrid that promises feel-good fun for all the family, plus an added musical element. Shawn Mendes stars as the voice of Lyle, the newest addition to the Primm family, who are played by Constance Wu, Scoot McNairy, and Winslow Fegley. The trailer also introduces Javier Bardem as Lyle’s eccentric owner Hector P. Valenti. Stranger Things’ Brett Gelman stars as Mr Grumps, the Primm’s nightmare neighbour who takes an instant dislike for the fun-lov.ing croc and sets out to have him captured by the city's wildlife control. Now on the run, Josh and his new repitlian best friend set out to show the world that they don't need to be afraid of this croc.
