Keanu Reeves returns as John Wick takes his fight to the High Table global in the trailer for the action franchise’s fourth instalment.
Several years after tragedy dragged him back into the game, John Wick appears to have finally found a way of getting out for good. The trailer sees the beloved anti-hero assassin set out to defeat the High Table once and for all by challenging its new Marquis, played by Bill Skarsgård, in a one-to-one duel. But before their pistols at dawn, Wick must fight his way there first as he finds his path to defeating the High Table populated by a series of henchmen who are among the most lethal adversaries he's ever faced. Reeves and director raise the action bar even higher with more killer choreography as the trailer gives a taste of the bloodshed this globe-hopping thrill is set to deliver – from white-knuckle chases in cars and on horseback to fight sequences using an arsenal of weapons including axes, clubs, swords, nunchucks, and, of course, guns. The fourth chapter in the epic bullet ballet looks to match the hurt with plenty of heart as John Wick prepares to end things on his terms, once and for all, dead or alive. Whether this is one last dance for the legendary assassin or not will be revealed in cinemas March 23.
