Meet the ancient alien species giving new meaning to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in the teaser for Marvel’s Eternals.
The first official trailer for Marvel’s Eternals arrives to properly introduce us to the MCU’s newest, and oldest, superhero family. After many months of waiting since they were announced, the all-star ensemble cast are finally revealed in all their costumed glory. Starring as the Eternals are Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Lia McHugh, Don Lee, and Barry Keoghan. There’s even a quick look at Kit Harington’s hero Dane Whitman too. But the trailer isn’t just a cheery meet and greet, it also signals the end of the world as we’re forced to wonder why the ancient alien species that have secretly helped humanity for thousands of years without ever interfering, are suddenly forced to do so. As the synopsis reveals, mankind’s oldest enemy, The Deviants, have returned so this new team of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes must assemble. It’s only a short teaser that’s keeping a lot of secrets, but still manages to treat us to so much. Stunning naturalistic visuals are as eye-catching as the ensemble cast as the Oscar-winning director of Nomadland, Chloé Zhao, goes behind the wheel of the project that promises one giant leap for the MCU. Eternals is definitely something to experience in cinemas this November.
