The Big Apple isn’t big enough in the teaser for the live-action adaptation of a childhood favourite.
A childhood classic is coming to cinemas this Christmas as the teaser for the live-action take on the tall tale introduces us to Darby Camp as young Emily and her brand-new, oh-so-adorable, bright red puppy Clifford. But, as fans know all too well and Emily quickly discovers, an unusual coat isn’t the only remarkable thing about this peculiar pooch. After adopting Clifford from John Cleese’ mysterious animal rescuer, Emily’s tremendous love for her new friend causes him to grow ten times in size overnight. The fun-filled trailer shows some of the shenanigans you’d expect owning a super-sized puppy to bring. The Big Apple isn’t big enough as even the simplest of things dog owners do every day are taken to towering and incredibly difficult new heights as Clifford causes chaos in the apartment, the vets, and the New York city streets. The trailer also introduces an American-accented Jack Whitehall who co-stars as Emily’s uncle Casey and joins Emily and Clifford on this grand adventure.
