A young mother struggles to provide her two young daughters with a warm, safe, and happy home to grow up in. When it becomes clear that the local council won't provide her with a home, she decides to build it herself from scratch. With very little income to speak of, and no savings, the determined mother uses all of her ingenuity and draws on the strength of community to make her ambitious dream a reality.
