Charles Krantz, or Chuck to you, has spent his life as an accountant, but always longed to be a dancer. We join Chuck nearing the end of his days, but his story is only just beginning in this moving tale about the wonderful experience of life, told in reverse.

Famed for The Haunting Of Hill House, Midnight Mass, et al., Mike Flanagan has made a name for himself as a modern master of horror. He’s no stranger to Stephen King’s work, too, having previously directed Gerald’s Game and The Shining sequel, Doctor Sleep. Now, he shifts away from horror to bring one of King’s most wholesome stories to the screen – one that explores what makes us human.

Tom Hiddleston and Room’s breakout star, now grown-up, Jacob Tremblay both take the role of Chuck at different stages of his life. They’re joined by an all-star ensemble who portray people whose lives Chuck has touched along the way, including Mark Hamill, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Matthew Lillard, Mia Sara, Nick Offerman, and Karen Gillan.

Get ready to embrace the pure joy of life itself and the works of a legendary storyteller who’s long been the king of not just horror, but unforgettable emotional tales, too.
