The Big Sick Official Trailer

Starring Silicon Valley’s Kumail Nanjiani, the bittersweet romantic comedy The Big Sick tells the story of the relationship between a Pakistan-born aspiring comedian, Kumail, and the grad student, Emily, he connects with after one of his standup sets. The uplifting trailer is juxtaposed by a sad story as Emily is beset with a mysterious illness but the film finds comedy in the darkness as Kumail is forced to navigate the medical crisis with her parents (Ray Romano and Holly Hunter) who he’s never met.
