Jenna Ortega’s Tara Carpenter, Melissa Barrera’s Sam Carpenter, Jasmin Savoy Brown’s Mindy Meeks-Martin, and Mason Gooding’s Chad Meeks-Martin come face to face with a tormentor they thought they’d left behind in the trailer for the sixth instalment of the Scream franchise. The full trailer catches up with the four survivors of 2022’s franchise-reviving Ghostface killings where they’re now in New York and hoping to have found a fresh start in a place where they can put their past behind them. Only, what terrorised them in Woodsboro has followed them to their new home and their life in a new city is on a knife-edge when a new, different kind of killer emerges with a new game and a whole new set of rules. With the Scream survival guide being rewritten around them, our heroes reach out to franchise favourites Courteney Cox’s Gale Weathers and Hayden Panettiere’s Kirby Reed for help surviving the most devilish Ghostface yet and finishing this once and for all. We’ll find out if they can when Scream VI comes to cinemas March 10.
