Meet Marla, a prim and proper girl with a preference for having her life in order. At least, until she has to voyage the road less travelled when her playful, unreserved brother Charlie ends up disappearing unexpectedly inside the bright and vibrant world of Playmobil. She makes a plan: first step, become three inches tall. And plastic.

Once miniature, she meets a variety of oddballs from each of the stunning worlds of play, from charming and friendly food truck driver Del (Jim Gaffigan), confident spy Rex Dasher (Daniel Radcliffe), and even a fairy godmother in the form of a robot (Meghan Trainor). With their assistance, she hopes to get to the bottom of her brother’s mysterious disappearance, though it would seem there is more than one enigma at hand to crack – countless others besides her brother have also disappeared.

This film marks the directorial debut of American animator Lino DiSalvo, who boasts some stellar credits for working on Disney animated hits Tangled and Frozen. Playmobil: The Movie is set to take audiences on Marla’s wacky quest of rescue and self-discovery through the worlds of the bestselling toy, full of laughs, animated thrills, and heart-warming moments.
