The Mexican, musical adventure follows a young boy, Miguel, who dreams of becoming a musician just like his great-great grandfather before him. But, for a reason unknown to him, music has been banned in his family for generations. Against his grandmother’s instructions, Miguel strums an ancient guitar and ends up in the surprisingly vibrant Land of the Dead. With the help of some kindly dead relatives, he sets out to learn the truth about his family’s past before he gets trapped in the afterlife.
