Mothering Sunday Trailer

Following its exceptionally well-received international premiere at Cannes Film Festival, Lionsgate has released the first look at the new romance based on the novel by Graham Swiff that tells the story of a secret love affair. The stirring trailer introduces Odessa Young’s Jane Fairchild, a writer who reminisces about her time working for the Niven family where she fell madly in love with a man who was due to marry another woman. Their love is intensely passionate, but ultimately impossible and leads to events that neither can foresee that change Jane’s life forever. Odessa Young and The Crown’s Josh O’Connor star as the secret lovers, but the trailer also showcases the exciting ensemble cast that includes Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, Glenda Jackson, Olivia Colman, and Colin Firth. As well as releasing the first trailer, Lionsgate also confirmed Mothering Sunday will release exclusively in cinemas on November 19.
