Can you hear the call?

When the Heart of Te Fiti is taken, the lava demon Te Kã unleashes her fiery wrath upon island life. On Motunui, a brave young girl answers the call of her ancestors and sets out to fulfil her wayfinding destiny, embarking on a journey of self-discovery to restore the heart and save her people.

Supported by her loyal stowaways – the ever-so clumsy rooster Heihei and her affectionate pet pig Pua – Moana must stand strong against a storm of dangers: be it coconut pirates, colossal crabs, or a crafty demigod with an almighty god complex.

Reprising his role in live-action, Dwayne Johnson brings renewed swagger to Maui’s tattoos, transformations, and musical bravado. Starring in her debut role, Catherine Lagaʻaia makes waves as Moana, capturing not only the look but the spirit and soaring voice of so many fans favourite Disney princess.

As a reimagination, this new Moana doesn’t chart a radically different course but celebrates everything audiences adored  about the original on a fresh cinematic horizon. Hamilton director Thomas Kail takes the helm, with composer Mark Mancina returning alongside Lin-Manuel Miranda and Opetaia Foaʻi to power the quest with their beloved songs.

Set sail on Moana’s epic ocean odyssey – a family adventure with heart, humour, and high-seas wonder so irresistible that when you hear its call, you have to answer.

Moana

Originally voiced by Auliʻi Cravalho, Moana captured audiences instantly with her mythical story and fierce, independent spirit. A box-office triumph and Oscar-nominated hit then, now still a Disney streaming favourite. Its influence reaches far beyond the screen, with merchandise, music, and theme-park attractions securing its place as a bona fide classic.
