It's No Joke

Deadline broke the news that the DCCU will expand once more with a new standalone film that reveals the origins of the Joker. Set in Gotham in the early 1980s, Warner Bros and DC’s gritty crime drama will be co-written and directed by Todd Phillips and produced by Martin Scorsese. We don’t yet know who will take the central role as the iconic Batman villain but we do know it won’t be Leto who will reprise his role for the Suicide Squad sequel and Harley Quinn spin-off Gotham City Sirens. The Joker origin story is already dividing opinion but with so little detail we’re not writing this one off before we know more.
