You know him as a superhero summoned by shouting a single world, now Zachary Levi is discovering a different kind of superpower in the adaptation of the beloved picture books written by Crockett Johnson. The trailer introduces the Shazam star as Harold, a character who lives in the fictional world inside of his books. But one day, having grown up, he leaves the pages behind and enters the real world. With his magical purple crayon that can make anything he draws real; he causes lots of hilarious hijinks as he learns to adjust to life in the real world. Thankfully, he’s got some help in the form of his friends as the trailer shares a look at the supporting cast that includes Lil Rel Howery, Jemaine Clement, and Zooey Deschanel. This live-action hybrid family adventure/comedy invites you to a world where anything he draws comes to life in cinemas August 2.
