Gerard Butler goes on the run from Armageddon in the first look at his new disaster movie
Going toe to toe with disaster is nothing new to Gerard Butler, who’s built a career out of overcoming impossible odds. First, he led a legion of 300 against an entire army of thousands, has since battled terrorist in the Fallen trilogy, and also save the world from climate catastrophe in Geostorm. Now, he’s set to face his most dangerous foe yet, planet-killing comets plunging to Earth. Reunited with Angel Has Fallen director Ric Roman Waugh, Butler stars as a regular joe who finds himself and his family caught in the middle of an extinction-level event. After discovering that their only hope of survival is secret underground bunkers in Greenland, he attempts to guide his family through the apocalypse and into the safe haven. Joining Butler in the disaster epic are Roger Dale Floyd, Scott Glenn, David Denman, Hope Davis, Andrew Bachelor, Joshua Mikel, and Deadpool’s Morena Baccarin as his estranged wife.
