Fresh from their surprise tag-team takedown of Mechagodzilla in the film that first set them as mortal enemies, Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire picks up several months later where the Titans have since gone their separate ways.

Godzilla Vs. Kong director Adam Wingard returns to helm this ambitious sequel, with Rebecca Hall and Brian Tyree Henry back as Dr Ilene Andrews and Bernie Hayes respectively. The stakes have never been higher! Luckily, they’ve got additional help in the form of Dan Stevens’ Trapper, who has a crucial part to play in Monarch’s efforts to end this ape apocalypse.

Get ready for even more Titan fights and monster spectacle, all as part of an epic story that uncovers how these colossal creatures came to be.

As a new monster makes its move to claim the crown as king of the Titans, Kong comes packing a new robot hand and Godzilla gets a luminous pink glow-up as they both power up for this showdown of epic proportions.

MonsterVerse

Since 2014’s Godzilla, the MonsterVerse has become a monster of a multimedia franchise that’s unleashed all kinds of kaiju.

King Ghidorah

With the help of Mothra and Monarch, Godzilla emerges as king of the monsters by taking down this three-headed dragon. Definitive proof that more heads aren’t necessarily better than one.

Mechagodzilla

After debuting back in the seventies, this mechanical Titan returns as the enemy nearly four decades later, fuelled by the skull of a severed head of King Ghidorah. However, a robotic copycat is no match for Kong’s atomically-charged axe.

Skar King

Earth’s newest threat is an orangutan-like Titan who holds a deep grudge against Kong. He’s bigger than his simian cousin, boasting a slimmer build and a deeper distrust of humans.
