The trailer for this dazzling new animated adventure introduces two lifelong friends, voiced by Grammy and Oscar-winner H.E.R. and Liza Soberano. They’ve been inseparable since school in the nineties, but after graduation their lives pull them in different directions, and their lifelong bond is at risk of breaking. Everything changes on their last night together when a mysterious portal transports them to the fantastical island of Nakali. Brought to life in the same stunning animation style as Puss In Boots: The Last Wish and The Wild Robot, the island teems with magic, colour, and mythical creatures – some friendly, some not so. But there’s a catch: the price of returning home is the memories of their entire friendship. With time running out, Joe and Raissa must race to find a way back, before they forget each other forever. Featuring an all‑star voice cast also including Dave Franco, Lea Salonga, Jenny Slate, Manny Jacinto, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy, and Ronny Chieng, this celebration of friendship – rooted in Filipino folklore yet universal at heart – arrives in cinemas on October 16.
