Just when you thought the Fast & Furious franchise couldn’t get any more ambitious with its car-based action, F9 launched Dominic Toretto’s crew out of this world… literally!

Fast X, however, the first of an epic two-part finale, brings them crashing back to the tarmac where they’ll face their most dangerous threat yet: Jason Momoa’s Dante.

Emerging from the rubble of Fast Five’s mind-blowing bridge battle, the son of drug lord Hernan Reyes is hell bent on getting revenge for his father’s death. Of course, retconning past events in this way is a well driven track for the Fast & Furious films, but tying Fast X to one of the franchise’s best-loved entries proves there’s still plenty of gas in the tank.

Vin Diesel and the rest of the beloved crew – including the late Paul Walker, who will feature via flashback – return alongside John Cena, Helen Mirren, Jason Statham, Charlize Theron, and more franchise favourites, with some exciting new additions on board, too.

The end of the road might be in sight, but things are anything but slowing down as Dom’s fight to protect his family continues in another exciting instalment. Prepare for a return to death-defying racing, family drama, and thrilling action set pieces rolled into one, Fast X is going full throttle!

Briefly hanging up his hero suit for a terrific turn as a bad guy, the Aquaman star joins the Fast family as a villain he describes as “sadistic, androgynous, and a bit of a peacock.” It’s clear, there’s more to fear than muscle.

Captain Marvel herself makes her Fast & Furious debut as a rogue agent working on behalf of Kurt Russell’s Mr Nobody. Director Louis Leterrier has teased her character’s strong connection to the crew’s past.

Family is at the heart of all things Fast & Furious and now we know more about Dom’s history, his long-lost brother Jakob, and their father’s death, Fast X introduces his grandmother, played by the West Side Story star.
